This is a very versatile selfie stick with an 8 inch ring light. When folded it is compact enough to carry in a backpack or even in my wife's crossbody bag. It has a built-in rechargeable battery, so you can use the ring light to get extra lighting for indoor shots when you need it. The smartphone holder can be rotated so you can take horizontal or landscape shots while taking selfies. I was pleasantly surprised at how long the selfie stick could be taken out, but what's even more impressive is that the handle can be opened and turned into a tripod! Each tripod leg is approximately 10 inches long, providing very wide and stable legs. You can adjust how high you want the tripod off the ground, so I prefer to mount it as low to the ground as possible so it's less likely to tip over in strong winds outside. It also comes with a Bluetooth remote control which is located on the handle and can be easily removed if needed. All in all, a great selfie stick that can be used both as a ring light and as a tripod for your smartphone. Really very versatile!
