Update: After I posted the review below and returned the product, I was contacted by the seller. They were very apologetic and told me the item I received was supposed to be a lemon. They offered to send a new one for free and asked me to change my review (they were pretty pushy about the review until I told them to back off or I will complain to Revain). So. I had a spare speaker for about 2 weeks. And you know what? The review is worth it. I would have added a star but the persistence with which I change the rating before receiving the replacement product put an end to that. The volume buttons still work so it's an improvement over the previous one, but keeping this thing going for 2 weeks isn't an impressive feat. The FM radio that made me buy this thing? Still a piece of junk. Poor reception even with 2ft of wires hanging from it and completely static when there is no external antenna. HOW NOT TO USE RADIO (and I'm in town, near the station I'm listening to). The clip is comfortable and the volume/sound is reasonable, but you have to stop calling it a radio. First rating follows: I wanted to like that. It is small, light weight, easy to attach and carry around when working in the garden and yard. Looks pretty strong. It has excellent battery life, 5 or 6 hours at a decent volume. The controls are easy to use and clearly labeled, and they don't have one button that does everything. BUT. I basically wanted it for FM radio. I live in the same city where the high power station I like best has a cell tower. Approximately 6 miles. But I couldn't use the radio because the reception was so bad and impossible to locate. The device wobbles when moved on the carabiner, and that was enough for me to hear nothing but fluff on the radio. I would have a great reception if I were willing to stand perfectly still in the right spot. So I used it as a Bluetooth speaker instead. Much better! Pairing with my Android phone is effortless, good sound and great volume. Until the volume control button "+" stopped working, ie the 4th day I used it. Reboot defaults to Mod/Low Volume and it didn't work for me. So I return. Very disappointed. Great idea and design, lousy execution. I tried to contact the company as they put a nice card in the box offering help with any problems. But they said to click 'Contact Seller' in my Revain account. There is no way to do this, it is an ebay instruction. I couldn't find a way to actually contact them. While other people have had good customer service based on the reviews, I have to say that knowing how to contact them was too difficult. Thank goodness Revain Prime no problem returns and I've already received my refund.
