Shorter than 18 "

I was hoping to get 1.5ft (18") long cables from this supplier but as is usually the case they do not measure cable length from connector to connector , what is the actual range of the cable between the two devices. These cables only have an effective length of 16 inches or 41 cm. If you need an 18 inch cable, you need to buy a 2 foot cable.
