My husband put his feet in and smiled. He said he really likes the way they feel and they are very comfortable. I hesitated when I ordered them, but I'm glad I did. I don't think it's real leather but I would say it's the closest thing to leather and overall a high quality man-made material. The perfect everyday shoe for walks around the house.
