Complete crap. Checked the strips before installation. Everything was good. Went ahead and installed 2 of these, carefully and correctly routed all the wires. Turned on the light for another test and it worked for about 2 minutes. You then shorted INSIDE the clear plastic case which in turn blew the LED controller I was using. I have been an automotive electronics technician specializing in lighting for 10 years. I've never seen the strip short inside the case. I'll try replacing the strip with one of the strips I haven't used, but I still don't have a controller.
