Not rustproof!
I don't think these feathers are stainless steel at all. They're too shiny for stainless steel, probably nickel-plated steel. In addition, unlike stainless steel, they have strong magnetic properties. I bought them for outdoor use and the price is right so I'll try them but they aren't stainless steel. The box says "Spring Silver Tone" whatever that means.
