This and other HP monitors are advertised as compatible with Apple. But if you go to HP's website, it says it isn't. Most Mac computers do not recognize these monitors, making it impossible to update firmware or otherwise connect to them. After a few months, the problems will increase when the monitor doesn't recognize input from the Mac, requiring a tedious restart and eventually not being recognized at all. They shouldn't be sold as Mac compatible at all until HP fixes this bug.
