Exactly what I needed!

So as you can see from my photos this arrived with the clasp torn from the case. BUT. If manufacturers have skimped on the quality of the case, they have more than made up for it in the quality of the instruments - that's the really important part here. Band saws are mostly metal, and metal and plastic colored parts are solid. For example, every tape recorder manufacturer has a weight, it feels solid. These things aren't going to break anytime soon. The awl is nice and sharp, feels good in the hand. The included sewing foot also feels solid and well constructed. The pins are also quite strong, which is exactly what I want to use to attach the bias binding to the ironing board for ironing. I've been thinking about hiring bias tape makers for a while (almost every time I run out of bias tape at the last minute because my project needs bias tape and again I can't), but I always cringe at the price tags. I see in stores: at least $15 for just four tape recorders. Although this kit costs $15, it seems like a much better deal with the included awl, presser foot, sturdy pins, and even a case (it still works with a clasp!). It even comes with instructions, including a tip I hadn't thought of, which is to use an awl to guide the fabric through the ribbon maker when you first insert it. I couldn't be happier with this set! Highly recommended. only for four tape manufacturers.
