I use metal rivets in all my crafts and when I came across these I was curious to see how they would hold up. They arrived very quickly and I have to say I'm very impressed! If you put a metal stud next to it you would definitely tell them apart, but without you you wouldn't really get it and they are a lot lighter than metal rivets! I cut off a piece to fit in front of the sunglasses for a photo shoot and the model had no problem with the weight of the sunglasses!
