Review on BASN Bsinger BC100 In Ear Monitor Headphones Universal Fit Noise Isolating IEM Earphones For Musicians Singers Studio Audiophiles (Red) by John Brazington

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It didn't work for this singer

I sing in a group of 5 and sometimes I sing in a group of 7 services at church. I really wanted to like her. But they just don't suit me. Pros: 1) The kit comes with a whole range of different sized nozzles to fit almost any ear; 2) they seriously block the entire entrance to the ear and block noise quite well; 3) look professional; 4) They come with a clip to secure the left and right wires behind their heads so viewers can barely see the wires; 5) The wires and metal pin are strong and much nicer than cheap headphones. Cons: 1) They just don't fit in-ear headphones that contain a mix of more than two channels. If you can just send your OWN voice (or instrument) into the mix they might work, so they might work for a one person group with IEM, but for a larger group with 3 or more channels to mix, they will work just not working well. 2) The sound is too tinny/heavy in the high frequencies and I pulled one out each time until eventually I pulled both out and just used the mix that was online. Once I even went back to the cheap Samsung headphones they give you for free when you buy a phone and they gave me a better mix than these. Conclusion: If you play alone, they can work. Or if you only use them for listening to music at home or when traveling, they might work. But for musicians/singers who need to mix multiple instruments in the IEM, I would suggest skimping on more expensive headphones.
