These are excellent shelves with plenty of space between shelves. I can really fit my big, giant books in between. Most shelves have about 12 inches of spacing between shelves. You have 14. Very easy to assemble and very stable. Looks nice. Good quality laminate. Nothing scratched or damaged. All holes were drilled correctly, aligned correctly. I have some concerns about the weight causing them to sag. I'm already seeing some flex so I'm not keen on that and will probably try to evenly distribute the weight or put the heaviest stuff on the side and bottom. I wish there were steel supports under the shelves for extra support. All in all, these are great shelves for the price. I don't really think they're made for hundreds of pounds of books, but if you're sharing the space with other things in combination with books you should have solid, well-designed shelving.
