Not as good as an RC trike. This scooter is mostly made out of molded plastic including the base which flexes a bit under my 3 year old's weight; and doesn't rotate easily - it stops when you put both feet. She weighs about 34 pounds. I'm a little disappointed with the purchase but it was a New Year's gift so I can't return it.
