Mainly molded plastic

Not as good as an RC trike. This scooter is mostly made out of molded plastic including the base which flexes a bit under my 3 year old's weight; and doesn't rotate easily - it stops when you put both feet. She weighs about 34 pounds. I'm a little disappointed with the purchase but it was a New Year's gift so I can't return it.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Secret

Good wide deck, not very good wheels.

Radio Flyer Must have better wheels. They don't roll that well and are made of cheap plastic. Should have been a little easier to build and had better wheels. A good sized deck for beginners, could be a bit more stable. Good buy just not quite the quality you would expect from such a good brand.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Minor problems

I do not recommend for 2 years

Very unstable. Unless my 2 year old accidentally puts his foot in the middle, maybe a little to the side, the whole thing will tilt. leans badly. How is a 2 year old supposed to learn like that? I think the problem is that the base is too long. There is no focus. Feels like very cheap plastic for the Radio Flyer brand. The handle is not adjustable. My child is of average height and weight.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • piggy bank Price

Not for everyone for push ride ons

This is a two page review; I give five stars because it was easy to assemble and fits my needs. I have a 3 year old that I don't want to go fast or far on a scooter with. Reviews reporting that the scooter is not fast or maneuverable are correct. So if you need a scooter that's more maneuverable and faster, then this isn't for you. My little friend can ride scooters at the same time as his older brother and is happy. As he becomes more coordinated, he becomes bored and restricted. BUT as long…

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • I'll add later

GET ANOTHER RADIO FLYER SCOOTER

Don't take this scooter! Get a Lean and Glide Scooter from a radio flyer or call 502A (same thing). We already had the tilt and slide for my oldest daughter and my two year old loved using it too. I bought this thinking it would be better suited for a two year old. This scooter was actually taller (than the lowest tilt and slide level - this one isn't even adjustable!), harder for her to balance (it's so wide, if you stand on its side it becomes unstable) and MUCH harder to turn. Not to mention

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later
