I don't fly out of VLOS like some guys. But, I do take it pretty close to the limits. Sometimes, my Mavic is just a spec in the sky. I know that these quads have a range of miles. And, in that range, I'm always mindful of the signal strength. Everything near you and 'home point' may be clear of interference. But, you can't always see what's going on, just beyond that rise, or down in that valley. I got these boosters to improve my signal. Not so I could go further. But, so I could have better signal within my normal flying range. So far, it's been a good investment. I've flown with and without them, and checked the signal at about the same distance. These Tomat boosters actually do the trick. Don't ask me to explain how they work. It's beyond my skill sets. But, I can tell you that, YES, they work. Good purchase. Five stars.
