I think this screen is at its best if you have room to install it permanently. Straight out of the bag it has some deep creases that I can see by looking at it. Unfortunately I don't have a place to keep it all the time so I have to put it back after use. If I fixed it to a wall or something, maybe the creases would go away on their own after a while. The fabric feels like a thick silk sheet with a black border and eyelets all around. It's a bit bulky due to its size and the fact that it's so soft and "flexible". Depending on your space and how you set it up, You may need at least two people to wrestle it to keep it from getting dirty. I plan to use this both in my garage and outside right in front of my garage with tripods and poles. So far I've only used it in my basement, folded it so the short end fits my width, and it's worked fine. Although I don't really have a comparison, I'm very happy with it so far.
