No need to worry about this thing falling apart! I put my tablet up when I stayed at the hotel for work, but opted for a nice little stand. For the money you can't beat this one. It has little rubber pads so it doesn't scratch my tablet and to tell you this thing starts is an understatement. You actually have to work hard to put it in place, so you don't have to worry about a heavy tablet tipping it over. Works great as a bedside table and actually worked quite well in flight with my tablet right in front of me while I was watching a movie. You can actually bend this thing a number of different ways, and I was actually able to get it quite high while flying so I didn't have to look at my tablet. I'm very glad I got this and honestly surprised at how well put together it is at this price point.
