For those who prefer a wider backing than the adhesive

This tape will hold securely. An added bonus is that there is a non-adhesive backing along the edge of the tape that you can grab at any time to remove the backing. In other words, the liner is about 1/2 inch wide and the adhesive strip is only about 1/4 inch wide.
