Fun with ball track reservations

Advantages: Compatible with existing Duplo bricks. A great addition to your existing stock of blocks. Cons: Inconsistent block closures. Some of them were shiny like regular Lego brands, some weren't shiny like cheap brands. Some blocks required more effort to properly attach to another. Marble is made up of halves that need to be joined together. Some were easy to close, others I had to put together and then just knead by hand on the carpet. Don't expect to use paper with different patterns as instructions. This is just a demonstration of possible configurations without explanation. This is a great set to use with what you already have, which for my family is around 2-3 5 gallon buckets. The quality is a little different, with some of them being decent duplicates while others appear to be an unbranded version. Some parts will not attach properly to other blocks and may break at the connection points. If you're creating your marble walkway and you find that the balls aren't rolling properly, it's likely that one piece isn't sitting flush with the other. This can be difficult for young children to explain and reinforce, and may require an adult to regularly check their runs. Your marble walkway needs to be high for everything to move. Height + loose connections + weight of my hand pushing down = many broken towers. Cross-connections are your best friend, but that's not easy to explain to young children either. That's why they build flat surfaces. I build high tracks. We all try each other and it's still a win.
