I believe there is no quality control on this material or the reviews I thought I had seen were incredibly misleading. I sprayed my dining table legs to keep my dog from chewing and IN ONE SECOND my husband started coughing. I started coughing. My husband has asthma and cannot be in the room where I was spraying. I have followed the instructions. It's hard not to inhale the mist when it hits the air instantly, causing uncontrollable coughing and sneezing. My throat is burning. I hope this doesn't hurt my lungs because I feel like I have acid in my throat, lungs and nose. If he does this to us, what is he doing to the animals?
