I really couldn't ask for more. I've talked about camcorders for years, but they were still in the wired stage. and you install an entire house that becomes expensive to maintain and operate. I bought 2 of these cameras to cover both the front doors and the sides of the house. In my initial placement of the first camera, I found some limitations as the field of view isn't wide enough for this niche. Simple solution. Shifted so it closes the door at a different angle. It's actually getting better because I can see the whole track now. Last night, as it was getting dark and the camera was moving, I could barely see the truck across the street. This is a pretty good range in the dark. HD video is nice and clear. Lots of settings. It takes a few tries to get the driveway trigger right or you'll end up with every passing car. But you can do all of this through the app. A day later I saw the cost of solar panels. With simple regular use, fires, when someone is in the yard, etc., you'll get a week or more of battery life. Luckily I have a roof that is free to the east, south, west. I also bought panels, true WiFi coverage. I will buy more.
