My son dances a lot for musical theater. I just looked at this order and am amazed at how they have lasted over a year but the sole is already worn out. They still look pretty good and support him but he is 15 and still growing so I think I probably ordered them for the big side but they are very comfortable for him when dancing and when he forgets to take them to class, it hurts when he wears normal shoes. But I need to go tan instead of black so I remeasured his feet and will order a size up and will definitely stick with this brand. For the price I think they are very well made - all seams are still in perfect condition, nothing is torn or torn, only signs of wear on the soles and on the leather part of the toe box, partly due to the waxing of the feet. For an adult or child who dances more than he does, they will likely last 6-12 months. When new they look exactly like the picture and do not need to be broken in.
