A dream for a child. I bought these for my 9 year old son for our houseboat trip to Shasta. He loved them and didn't take them off until they contained pebbles, but that happens with any shoe. Just to describe how cool it is we decided to walk to the falls which meant we parked our ski boat, jumped off and went for a swim (in shoes) and then walked a mile over boulders, sticks, streams and works . These shoes did it! I'll say that, I want them to swim. My very adventurous nephew (10) got out and drowned alone. Conclusion: buy them and be sure to use the size chart, that's right!
