This cute little robot is ideal for beginners for hobbyists with advanced robotics. In general, the set is well put together. The quality is superior to other robot kits I've built in the past. The set isn't perfect, however, but it does give you and/or your child a great opportunity to improve their problem-solving skills. Below I have listed the pros and cons of the kit. Keep in mind that despite some issues with the kit I still give 4 stars because overall it was easy to put together and worked on my first try. Pros: Beautiful case with screen printed labels indicating where components should be located. - Components are packed in separate boxes with pictures printed on them for identification. - Casters and wheels feel strong and durable compared to other kits. - A good precision screwdriver is included. - In general, the kit is well assembled. Assembling is easy even for beginners. Cons: - No printed instruction manual and had to spend some time looking for it on their website. - The holes on the case don't perfectly match the AA battery holder. The package includes a holder for 18650 batteries, but they are not included. - Need a tiny screwdriver for the tiny 1.2mm screws that attach to the "servo horns" (plastic additive). - The ultrasonic sensor is secured with a zipper. Cable ties are great for wires/cables, but not for permanently attaching the sensor. The wheels are not fixed, just pressed in. It may not be a problem, but they can pop out. Advantages of the application: - Easy to connect to the robot. - Simple and user-friendly interface. Cons: - The app sometimes randomly crashes under certain conditions.
