I needed a replacement mouse for my old MacBook Air that had recently failed. A newer 2020 model, my replacement only has a "usb c" port (there are two). I bought this mouse because it can be used on computers with other types of USB ports. You need to switch between these types. The switch is on the bottom. It requires no batteries and comes with a charging cable. At the moment I don't know how long the mouse will last. However, when you plug it into a USB charging port (if you want), the mouse works like the wired mouse of days gone by.
