Review on 📸 PORMIDO 12” Mirror Dash Cam: Full Touch Split Screen HD 1296P, Dual Lens Sony, Super Night Vision & Parking Assistance by Bilal Cartwright

Initially I was looking for a new DVR for several reasons, my old one stopped recording sound, the internal battery swelled up and stopped correctly after 3 years of faithful service (vantrue N2 Pro). I was also constantly changing the DVR between my 3 cars, which was annoying with wires dangling from my dash. So I started my search for a new DVR after watching Revain for a few hours. I've come across a couple of SLR DVRs with mixed reviews. I came across a Pormido dash cam with a separate front camera, it was a winner because I use a low dark tint bar on my cars and being able to place the camera in the vehicle's blind spot below the tint line was a plus. Next they started reading reviews of all the Pormido cameras they offer and overall they had great reviews. I got the camera early today and was a bit sad because due to the height of my truck and the rear camera not being able to flip the image (mounted on my third brake light) I wanted to be able to see the bed and sides capture and not just the rear car (already has a factory backup camera) I emailed support and got a reply within the hour with a link and instructions on how to update the firmware to get the rear camera working where I already do was selected . So far I'm impressed with the picture quality. Night vision seems excellent from the front but from the rear it's about the same as on my 2018 Escalade factory rear view mirror video. I was a bit worried about how the mirror would look on my existing one but I have to say, that my GM is thick on the star mirror and the straps are nice and tight and don't wobble or vibrate. It's also right next to the Onstar buttons, so I don't have to worry about it pressing the buttons. I'm giving this setup about a week and if I'm still impressed I'll buy a 3 camera model for my BMW. So far the quality is excellent. Installation was easy for me as I often work on cars. I will update the review if my opinion on this product changes, but so far I love it!
