I love kids toys but I just can't justify spending so much money on something my daughter can't get her hands on. To my surprise, I ordered them in January and she's still wearing them. At first they were large, but because they had real laces, I was able to tie them tightly to her leg. Now they still fit and go with most outfits. It's used more than I thought it would be, but I'm still glad I'm spending less than a well-known brand. The fabric is good quality and thick. I wouldn't worry about wear and tear, especially considering they are for a child. My only complaint is that it "grabs" on the bottom. These are hard plastic bumps. I think the shoes would be better without them. As soon as my child tried to pull himself up to get up, they started working against her. I would recommend them to anyone looking for cheaper shoes for a child. This is a good decision and chances are they are still in good shape for another child or for distribution.
