Review on Tire BFGoodrich g-Grip 195/65 R15 91H by Mateusz Trzmiel ᠌

Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

That is true whether the road is dry or wet. Unlike Nokian, which always floats with soft sidewalls (I won't even compare Kumho, Cordiant, and Amtel), this one has a clear steering wheel, drives strictly in a straight line, and doesn't chat anyplace, as they say zero on the steering wheel. Just the right amount of resistance; neither too gentle nor too hard. There was also a marginal improvement in gas mileage. No hydroplaning is likely to occur. You drive on the BF Goodrich through the puddles and rain in the city, where on the same Nokian and Kumho the steering wheel pulled and you started to emerge, and you don't feel a thing. It begins its journey without losing traction on either dry or wet pavement (although, of course, if you press the throttle to failure, then not a single rubber can do it), and it slows down very effectively without breaking down and locking its wheels in a crisis. You haven't had to drastically reduce your speed on this rubber yet, so don't go jinxing it. When it comes to mud, it performs about as well as the typical vehicle, although the tread pattern isn't designed for navigating deep puddles; after all, it's not a jeep. Excellent symmetry. Since I've only had these tires for about a month and a half, I can't comment on their wear resistance or strength; I'll wait till the season is over to find out, and then I'll cancel my subscription. As I mentioned before, the first 500 kilometers are the noisiest. It made a rapid humming noise, but the sound stopped when it started to roll. Tires make more noise than Gislaved but less than Cordiant and Amtel. We can chalk up the noise to the fact that nothing is perfect. It picks up small stones when driven over rubble, but those particles automatically fall off when the vehicle is driven onto clear asphalt, thus the ride is smooth and quiet. I particularly appreciate that the Polish manufacturer I contacted specifically requested rubber from a year before to 2022's output. There's room for a price drop from where I bought it (2410), and cheaper classmates and 2022 production are also possibilities. So, in sum, a nice choice and high quality for the price. The purchase was one I am happy with.

Pros
  • This tire, size 185/60 r14, was mounted on a Daewoo Nexia by me on March 5, 2022. First impressions are entirely favorable. Nokian, Gislaved, Kumho, Kordiant, and Amtel tires were among those I'd previously ride on. This one, however, was my favorite. Read on for further explanation.
Cons
  • Aside from the initial 500 kilometers, the rest of the run was relatively calm.
