Warning: Does not work on all devices

I bought this to extend a webcam that I have mounted on a tripod away from my laptop. However, it did NOT connect to my Logitech BRIO webcam. I know this is an issue with this extension because I connected my camera with a different 10ft cable and it worked fine. This cable worked when connected to a conference speakerphone (Jabra 410). universally does not connect all devices.
