They run true to size but are too big for dress shoes and my daughter might trip over them. They are very cute and she loves them very much but I will have to return them. She can't take more than a few steps without them slipping off her feet. They would work if they had a strap that could be tightened, but the strap is tight. The shoes may work if your child has wide or slightly swollen feet, but if they have normal or thin feet, they're not just wearing the thin tights that girls usually wear with such shoes.
