Most other nose studs fell out or fell out when I was washing my face or drying my face after getting out of the shower. Not this one. The ball inside is correspondingly larger than the post; no failure! Nice and cozy. Many others I've tried caused nosebleeds when my nose itches or when I rub the outside of my nostrils while blowing my nose. Not this one! Super smooth inside and out! No scratching on the inside of my nose (all the others I've tried that had a small ball inside caused nosebleeds when I rubbed/blow my nose). I wear 22 gauge nose studs, but it's not impossible (after going through this, my nose hurt a little for a few days, but that wasn't a surprise). White gold looks like silver, which is what I was looking for, with no skin irritation or reaction (like your ears will with cheap jewelry). Highly recommended!
