Only downside, but cats love it!
My cats love this tree and it's right at my eye level as I work from home so they communicate more. The only drawback are the walls/pipes at the edge of the upper bed. They don't fasten and don't fasten - my cat fell asleep a couple of times, leans on the edge and flies away. No injury, but an older cat could be injured. I had to work with one hand to support sleeping children! REVISED! I brought a construction stapler to the top edge and that seemed to work. I attach three staples on each side and it's much stronger.
