The gloves are well insulated.
On the first day of use, the plastic strap broke off the sewn-in fabric retainer. When trying to take off the right glove, the plastic part broke off. I sewed it back on with nylon cord, but I assume the mount will break again. Not the best low temperature design in my opinion. I'm interested in the idea of returning the gloves but don't have another pair available at the moment.
