I needed an easy small location unit. I thought this might do. It won't but not for the normal reasons, the construction materials are good, the concept it good, the execution fails when it comes to assembly.Mind you, I really wanted to like this product but I don't for the simple reason that is extremely hard to assemble and tear down and I am used to every type of gear out there, this is really hard and clumsy and I expect the fabric to tear after moderate use it is so tight and hard to assemble. The reflector dish (on the inside) should have three to four stem holders (the holes are there to accommodate), mine only came with two and that is not nearly enough, bad things will happen with any kind of wear. IF they have planned a bit more give it would have been great. If you can assemble it and never undo it, it should be fine, the light is equivalent to what other lights like this produce but as a location device, not good.The photos show you the problem areas in the first image you can see I got the entire thing set up but could not force the last snap in piece into place, the rod has a clever device that snaps into place into the flash ring, in this case Speedotron, which you can see in the second image getting them out is really hard and the last one will not go in without pulling way too hard on the fabric even when all the Velcro flaps are undone.
