Review on 🔩 GudoQi Mechanical Spinning Assembly Décor by Phil Morales

Doesn't run well

The idea of this puzzle is good but poorly executed. The parts do not fit well together and require quite a bit of force. It definitely cannot be done by people with carpal tunnel, arthritis, etc unless you have the tools. I had to use pliers and small tools to try and pry the pieces out and put them back together. Often the pieces break when trying to force them back into place. I had splinters in my hands and was even bleeding after being pinched trying to put the pieces together. The worst thing is, it doesn't spin smoothly. No matter how many times it is adjusted and retuned, it gets stuck turning because the gears don't mesh smoothly. You eventually have to give it a little nudge to get it running again (see video). I really wanted to like it, but there were too many little problems.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Reliability
