This isn't the first time I've replaced an iOS device screen, so I know what I'm doing. Nevertheless, this screen/kit is not suitable for the iPad Mini 3, especially not for the TouchID button area. And it's not an easy fit, the buttonhole is smaller than the button for example, and I think it's also slightly offset (but can't confirm that without measuring properly). Anyway, since this is an old iPad and my old screen was completely cracked, I put duct tape on one of the frames and moved on. It's not pretty, but it works.
