Retinol Nighttime Sleep Mask: Oily/Dehydrated Skin

Update March 27, 2018: It's almost empty for me, I've alternated nighttime use a bit so use has slowed down. I have it on my shopping list! Skin Type: Oily/Slightly Dehydrated Complexion: NC15Skin Condition: Dilated pores, darker sebum around nose, some acne scars, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (caused by acne), hormonal breakouts, good mouth/eye lines, dehydration Product: Elizavecca Milk Piggy Revitalize EGF Retinol CreamScented: Very low fragrance, mild smellPurchased: 11/16/2017Reviewed: 01/07/2018Review: This is a Korean sleep pack (night cream). Note that the item description says "Day or Night" but that is incorrect. This product contains 2500 IU retinol (75%) which is destroyed and rendered unusable by the sun. Although marketed as a cream, it is more like a gel. This Milk Piggy cream contains several ingredients that moisturize and stimulate the growth of new skin cells. For those with sensitive skin, note that this contains cetyl alcohol, alcohol and fragrances. For those who want products with no animal ingredients, this is a cruelty-free brand. It's very smooth and has a high viscosity that helps it sit on the skin. It has a very light scent. I am familiar with Korean perfume products and on a scale of 0 to 10 I give it a 1. I cannot smell the product after applying it on my skin and I can only smell it by specifically smelling the container. The container is large and closes well. It comes with a cap-like inner plastic shell with a small spatula attached with a clip. The packaging of the product is very cute, I love the shiny pig and his pig bones. Application: This is a thick product, but not as thick as an emollient night cream. If you wear a heavy cream or petroleum jelly for your evening routine, it will come sooner. The product comes with a small plastic spatula for fingerless application. I always apply with very clean hands, so I don't use a spatula. If you choose to use a spatula, wash it after each use to remove any remaining stains for easier use next time. You only need a dime to a quarter for your entire face. Apply the product to the face and then apply to the skin with clean fingers. You need to apply a very thin layer. Skin feels clammy before bed but product absorbs overnight. Usage/Reviews: This product helps my skin get really soft. When I wake up I find my skin is really soft, smooth and hydrated. I use this as PART of a routine with other products that hydrate, heal and nourish the skin but was very pleased to see noticeable results. Best results with regular use. I can definitely tell my skin is a lot drier and rougher in the mornings if I skip this step. I don't get acne from this product which is perfect. My skin looks so much brighter and clearer thanks to several healing and repairing ingredients in my skincare routine, including this retinol cream. I'm glad a little is enough, I have about 2/3 left and have been using it for about two months now.
