I bought these to replace one of my son's 12v DC ballasts that had failed. I diagnosed that the problem was primarily in the ballast. They literally plug right into existing ports. These A/C ballasts will ignite HID bulbs instantly without the warm up time of the old ones. I hope they last but if they do it will be a great product. They appear to be well built and we'll box them up.
