This is an amazing docking station. I use two screens with a 24" HD and a Microsoft Surface Book 2. It took a bit of effort to set it up properly and yes it does charge the Surface Book when plugged in. You can take your work with you to your computer. Follow the tension of the cord. I really like the comfort. It can be a bit slow at times, but just make sure you're using a good quality mouse with a wireless dongle that's clearly visible to the device. No problem, so far away. Helps me to do several tasks at home. Great Doc!
