Review on Philips Hue Downlight Bluetooth Compatible by John Brouillard

See, everyone knows that Philips products are overpriced. We buy products for their integration and broad app ecosystem support, and let's face it, Philips isn't going to disappear overnight like many other lighting companies. I purposely paid too much to stay and expand the shadow system, so I know. Connections. What a piece of junk. Entirely new canisters are being installed, and using modified mounts and not having the option to support both is ridiculous to me. The $14 canister LEDs at the hardware store have both friction plates and hinges that slide into the body of the canister. The 3 friction slots are just awful and what's worse you can't push them in as you are making the friction plate on the side and you can damage the clean edge around the residual light canister. I bought 12 of these and had to return 4 because they popped out and didn't stay straight. Revain WAS FANTASTIC and promptly sent me 4 more, 2 of which are coming now. I'll wait and see, but that's not acceptable to me.
