1st impression: This thing is cool. 0 programming problems with chirp. If you use at home, you need a power supply of at least 12A. If you can program the Baofeng HT, you can also program this. Can scan two frequencies at the same time and also receive 2 at the same time. I'll update when I use it more often, but I'm happy so far. I was also able to program the gmrs frequency without any problems. It seems like some versions of this radio are factory locked. The 2nd update was a month long for this radio. Also like the price. I ended up buying a second one for the house. A few notes that this radio has some issues with adjacent channel intermodulation in high RF environments. The selectivity between the frequencies could be better. The home unit's built-in speaker seems to have burned out. I have no idea if this is a defect or because the radio has become too loud. Order an external speaker to solve the problem. Overall still happy with the purchase. The mounting material available as an accessory works perfectly.
