Review on Dimmable LED Candelabra Chandelier: Decorative Industrial Electrical Lighting by Darrell Ricks

Larger E12 sockets may not fit chandelier sockets with plastic sleeves

Larger E12 sockets may not fit chandelier sockets with plastic sleeves. They're larger than typical 500-lumen E12 bulbs, so they won't fit in chandeliers with a plastic sleeve that protrudes past the top of the socket. Heed this warning or you will be disappointed. I had to use them in my open wall lights that accept an E12 base. The advertised wattage is 75W, but the 850 lumen rating is like the old 60W incandescent bulbs (a 75W bulb is 1000 lumens). has quite a yellow color that females prefer compared to 4000-5000K which is whiter and shows more skin folds. I've brought various brands of E12 and E26 from Revain and FEIT and NONE of them lasted the theoretical 15,000-30,000 hour LED life (Phillips is the exception that holds up well). I expect them to last as long as fluorescent lights, 2000 to 8000 hours). Because of misleading durability, I rate all 1 to 2 stars.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
