Review on 🐱 K&H Pet Products Outdoor Multi-Cat House Shelter Heated or Unheated by Steven Ripley

I bought this house for a feral kitten who doesn't come indoors but hangs out on my patio 24/7. Unfortunately, I don't have an outlet nearby to plug in the heated version, so I had to improvise. Before assembling the house, I reflexively doused the whole house – floor, walls, roof. Then I covered the whole house with thick plastic sheeting in case it rained, put everything on a small sled and covered it with a tarp. For the inner bottom, I put a piece of styrofoam for insulation, glued a reflector to the bottom, and then stuck the "mysterious purse pad" into the polar fleece pillowcase. I plan to put some straw around it and under the skids for extra insulation for the winter. My feral kitty thinks he's in heaven. It is protected, able to stretch inward, but at the same time pays attention to the approach of other "creatures”. He's a happy boy. (I have a heated version outside my house for a feral kitten I've been feeding for years. When winter comes he almost never comes out - again covered with a tarp as the house is NOT waterproof and gets wet inside in heavy rain )
