Review on Van Heusen Poplin Fitted Collar: Classic Men's Clothing for a Sharp Look by Josh Tadder

I am 6ft 2cm and weigh 220lbs. I'm not fat, but I'm not skinny either. I bought the 17.5" x 36/27 and was amazed at how well this shirt fit me. A lot of my old dress shirts are very baggy and had to be folded and tucked into my pants pocket to get a neat look. Fitted dress shirt off Poplin from Van Heusen fits my arms and torso comfortably and does not restrict my movement when worn. When I received my shirt, the package said it was a "fitted" shirt, not "fitted " as described in the product name. Slim fit shirts are the most appropriate shirt type offered by Van Heusen. I am including a helpful chart describing each of the different fit types. I also have similar charts from Van Heusen seen describing the respective sizes: regular fit, athletic fit and slim fit Many reviews have indicated that white shirts are thin I checked the shirt in a department store before buying it I put my fingers under the fabric of this shirt in addition to other brands and found the thickness/buminess to be about average. Due to the nature of white shirts, I find they are best worn with a tank top underneath. This shirt is no exception. The price of this shirt is very affordable and has great value compared to other brands. The only downside, as other reviewers have pointed out, is that the collar legs are permanently sewn into the garment. The cuffs are made of plastic so they don't rust. All in all a great price and comfortable to wear.
