The 1/3 strings had a broken connector
Looks good, I bought a similar one from my local Target store but they stopped selling and switched to the LED version. I wanted to add some strings to match the strings I already had. There is nothing wrong with the optics, but one of the three strings purchased has a defective connector at the end, and a string connected to the end of this string does not light. . I made it work for me by using it as the last line in the sequence, but that would be a problem if I had more than one such line.
