I have such a craving for espresso that I keep one of these pots on the stovetop everywhere. Two at home, one at my mother's, at work, at friends' etc. So I had a lot of them. Most of them are nameless brands like this one and they are all fine. This one looks like all the others and I'm confused as to why it doesn't work the same way. But I've tried every permutation imaginable (changing the grind size, how much I pack, how much water) and still get the same results. After sitting on the burner for twice as long as usual, it slowly starts to spray, takes another 10 minutes to fill the pot, and then it burns. Sometimes the ground even smells burnt before it comes to life. Thanks to Revain for the redemption.
