Fits and works well but not as well as the original. The original filter has a mesh side that goes outwards. In fact, it can be suctioned multiple times before it becomes too clogged and blocks flow. This replacement filter is made of "paper" on both sides. There is no cleaning. This will be a one-way unit. It is likely that changing the brand name will be more cost effective in the long run. I wish someone could make a plastic framed filter for these units out of a material that can be washed like the washable electrostatic filters they sell for AC central units. These AC filters are a mixed bag when it comes to reviews but I think it would work for a small fan filter like this. That would of course be more economical. They make a murder on these things.
