The sole of these shoes is excellent! As you'd expect from Skechers, really soft and holds wet feet well without slipping, your feet don't slide in and they seem to walk well on slippery surfaces without slipping...but one thing I really dislike. In addition, it is a rubber that fits on the top of the foot, it is a thin and grippy rubber that sticks on the top of the foot! And the hotter it gets, the worse it sticks and pulls the hair up. very annoying! Almost sent them back because it's so annoying. And another small negative: A nice thick and soft sole makes your feet feel like you have flotation devices on your feet when walking in deep water... if it weren't for how comfortable these soles are for getting out of the water . I would send them back immediately.
