Review on 💡 GE Lighting Undercabinet Linkable LED Integrated Light Fixture, 18 Inches, Warm White, 10-Watts by Steve Hauck

The first thing that struck me when I opened this lamp was how bright it was! Much lighter than other under cabinet lights I've worked with in the past... but that was a few years ago. Assembly is very easy, but I found it best to create my own assembly template so I could pre-drill the mounting holes exactly where I wanted. The mount has "captive" screws... meaning they are already screwed into the mount itself. This made it easier to screw them into the pre-drilled holes I made on the bottom of my cabinet. After installing the mount, I routed the cable as I saw fit using one of the two self-adhesive cable clips that came with the mount. It worked well and I hope the glue lasts a long time. After switching on, the lamp immediately began to emit a weak light. Turning it on made the light much brighter. What surprises me is that when the switch is off, the light is always dim. I didn't find any mention of this "feature" in the included instructions, so I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to work or not. I would prefer the light to be completely off when switched to the off position. I don't plan on turning off the flashlight when not in use, so it seems like it always draws a small amount of power even when it's off. I have attached three photos to this review. Once with light off, once with light on and off and once with light on. Overall I would rate it four stars and recommend it to a friend. I would rate it five stars if the light turned off completely when not in use. I hope you find this information useful.
