Red light brightness is good. The brightness of the white light is roughly the same as that of an old flashlight. I give it 5 out of 10 points. You couldn't use it as a headlight. As a parking light it is ok. One of the switches is a little wobbly. It doesn't work all the time. I have to press it slightly at an angle for it to work. I loaded them. The first two white ones showed full charge, one red one was still charging (red) and the last one had the LEDs all off and I unplugged them and plugged them back in. I'll see if they're all charged properly and then see how long they last flashing. If that's acceptable, I'll probably keep them. If not, if this happens again I will most likely be returning them due to the broken switch and charge indicator. Update: The red ones don't have a green light when loading, the red loading just goes out. I think if you used all four on the same bike you might have enough front light to see the road. Also, the bag they send will only have two lanterns. :(
