I use white on the lower front fork and red on the vertical strut legs as running lights in quick flash mode in addition to (2) Cygolight 1100 lumen headlights and taillight at 200 lumens. A quick flash attracts attention. They have been excellent so far. Easy to attach and remove for charging. I have 4 kits (8 total) to keep 4 charged and 4 on the bike. Red light brightness is good. The brightness of the white light is roughly the same as that of an old flashlight. I give it 5 out of 10 points. You couldn't use it as a headlight. I just opened up my flashlights and found that two straps broke right out of the box. I bought them based on functionality including the attachment device (strap) which looked like a flexible attachment method. Two sets of lights come with 4 necessary straps and 2 extras in case they break. Six straps came, but two of the six were broken. So no backups.
